Elderly Man Dies In Deptford Crash
DEPTFORD, N.J. (CBS) -- According to the Gloucester County Prosecutor, an 82-year-old man was killed in a car accident in Deptford, NJ Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say the man was making a U-turn on Delsea Drive at Fox Run Road when his vehicle collided with a Deptford public works department dump truck.
The elderly victim was transported to Inspira Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the truck was not injured, but was transported to the hospital as part of township protocol for personnel involved in accidents.
The crash remains under under investigation.
