Eight Years Later, Officials Still Searching For Clues About Disappearance Of Local Couple
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Eight years after a local couple disappeared, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office -- along with the FBI and Philadelphia police – is reaching out to the public for help determining what happened to the pair.
On Feb. 19th of 2005, Richard Petrone and Danielle Imbo (nee October) were last seen leaving the former Abilene's Bar on 4th and South Streets in Philadelphia inside Petrone's 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup truck.
Investigators say they have reason to believe that Petrone and Imbo were victims of foul play, and neither the couple nor their vehicle has been found.
Petrone, a single parent living in South Philadelphia, worked full time at his family's business, Viking's Pastries, in Ardmore. Imbo, who was estranged from her husband, was living in South Jersey with her infant son and working in the mortgage industry.
Now, on the eighth anniversary of their disappearance, anyone with information that may assist investigators is urged to call the Philadelphia Citizens Crime Commission Tipline at 215-546-TIPS (215-546-8477).
Police say there is a $50,000 reward for information about the whereabouts of Richard Petrone and Danielle Imbo and/or for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
