By Hadas Kuznits

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Eastern State Penitentiary will celebrate Bastille Day on Saturday in front of the Fairmount prison.

Sean Kelly with Eastern State Penitentiary says Bastille Day is essentially French Independence Day.

"We have a very playful, very Philadelphia, crazy take on it that we do every year in July," Kelly says.

And while it's celebrated every year in Fairmount, this year's celebration and performance will be a little different.

"We do it sort of in-house. We would kind of throw it together ourselves," he says. "This year, we are partnering with The Bearded Ladies who are an extremely talented hilariously funny cabaret act."

And they'll be shutting down Fairmount Avenue in front of the penitentiary.

"We're going to build a 24-foot stage in front," says Kelly. "That's where all the musicians will be, where the guillotine is and then people just gather round.  they know all the cues, there's lot's of applause lines and boo lines."

(Reporter): "Sounds like Rocky Horror Picture Show to me!"

"It's getting more and more like rocky Horror Picture Show," Kelly says.
