Eagles With First Of Two Games In Five Nights Tonight
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The preseason schedule maker didn't do the Eagles a whole lot of favors this year putting games two and three just four days a part.
Of course this busy work week begins tonight as the Eagles visit Bill Belichick's New England Patriots
before traveling to Cleveland to tangle with the Browns on Friday.
The starters should get a lot of work tonight after not looking great in limited action in the preseason opener against Pittsburgh. Eagles did eventually go on to win that game 24-23 back on August 9th.
On the injury front, several Eagles will not play tonight. That group features defensive end Jason Babin, linebacker Casey Matthews, wide receiver Riley Cooper and quarterback Mike Kafka.
KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Comcast SportsNet's Ray Didinger to find out what he will be looking for in this one.
