Eagles Trade Up To Select Washington State OT Andre Dillard With 22nd Pick In NFL Draft
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Howie Roseman was at it again Thursday night in the first round of the NFL Draft from Nashville, Tennessee. The Eagles' Executive Vice President of Football Operations moved up from the 25th-overall pick to the 22nd pick from the Baltimore Ravens, giving up their first rounder, in addition to a 2019 fourth- and sixth-round pick.

With the 22nd pick, the Eagles took offensive left tackle Andre Dillard out of Washington State.
Dillard is 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds. He made 39 starts over the last three seasons, and it seems Dillard will be the heir apparent to aging future Hall of Famer Jason Peters, who is 37 and has 16 years of NFL experience.

Dillard's strength is pass protection. He has good feet and is considered a pro-style pass blocker.
He doesn't have great arm length for a left tackle, but he'll add much-needed depth to an offensive line that averages 30 years and 8.8 years of NFL experience — among the oldest and most experienced lines in the NFL.

However, Dillard had a bad Senior Bowl. He was beat with speed defensive ends and power defensive ends.
"I was feeling every emotion in the book," Dillard said.. "I was anxious, such an amazing moment sharing it with everyone. I know what I have to do when I have to do it."
CBS Sports ranks Dillard as their 15th-best prospect overall and the third-best offensive lineman.
