Eagles Trade Bryce Brown To Bills

PHILADELPHIA, PA (CBS) — The Eagles announced Saturday that they have traded running back Bryce Brown to the Buffalo Bills for a conditional 2015 fourth-round pick, which can become a 2016 third-round pick. The Bills and Eagles also traded the 2014 seventh-round selections as part of the deal.
Under Chip Kelly, Brown started one game and rushed 75 times for 314 yards with two touchdowns. Brown obviously was the odd-man out in the Eagles' running back rotation of LeSean McCoy, Darren Sproles, Chris Polk and Matthew Tucker.
Polk, who had shoulder surgery earlier this year, played in 11 games in 2014, rushing for 98 yards, averaging 8.9 yards a carry and rushed for three TDs, tying him for second on the team with Nick Foles.
Brown, 22, will add depth to the Bills, whose top running backs, Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, will be in the last years of their contracts this coming season. Brown has two years remaining on his rookie deal.
