Eagles Superfan Has Special Plans For Playoffs
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Sunday's Eagles-Packers playoff game will be a very special day for an Eagles fan who became famous this season.
In a matter of months, Phil Cooper, 48, went from a face in the crowd to local celebrity. To celebrate the year of the fans, the Eagles named the exterminator from South Jersey their number one fan and placed his face-painted image on the cover of the yearbook, tickets, and schedule. On Sunday he'll add a little playoff pizzaz to his normal ritual which begins with face painting at around eight in the morning.
"It'll take somewhere around an hour and a half. We'll go down to the lots, start our tailgating around 9:30-10 oh clock and then work our way into the stadium somewhere around 3:30 then take over the section and bring home a victory and send the Pack packing back to Green Bay."
He's been a season ticket holder for 18 years and the leader of section 118 since the Linc opened.
