Eagles Super Bowl Odds Getting Shorter
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – They didn't add a big money free agent, but whatever moves they made seem to be doing the trick as far as oddsmakers are concerned.
The Eagles moved from 25/1 to 18/1 odds to win the Super Bowl in the latest set released by Bovada. The Eagles are the sixth shortest odds in the NFL. The 25/1 odds were released the day after the Seahawks defeated the Broncos in February's Super Bowl.
Speaking of the Seahawks and the Broncos, the two are the top favorites to win Super Bowl XLIX. The Seahawks lead the pack at 6-1, followed by the Broncos at 7-1. Rounding out the top six are the 49ers at 15/2, the Patriots at 9/1, and the Packers at 10/1, followed by the Eagles.
Not surprisingly, the Eagles have the shortest odds in the NFC East. The Cowboys sit at 40/1, the Giants also at 40/1, and Washington at 50/1.
