Eagles Studs And Duds: Week 1
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles started the season with a big, divisional road win over the Redskins, 30-17.
It was exactly the kind of start to the season the Eagles needed.
Duds
3. Jalen Mills
Mills did not give up any big plays and did come away with his first career interception, but there are reasons to worry. With Ronald Darby out with an ankle injury, Mills was targeted 10 times giving up 108 yards.
2. Isaac Seumalo
The Eagles second year guard struggled in his starting role in Week 1. Seumalo received a grade of just 34.1 per Pro Football Focus, as he consistently got beat in the running game. The Eagles rushed for just 58 yards as a team.
1. Wendall Smallwood
Someone of us expected big things from Smallwood this season. He opened the season with just four yards on four carries and one catch for five yards.
Studs
3. Nelson Agholor
Agholor caught six of his eight targets, including a 58-yard touchdown.
2. Brandon Graham
The Eagles' entire d-line was dominant, but Graham especially. He racked up 3.5 TFL, 2.0 sacks, and 2.0 QB hits.
1. Carson Wentz
He did have two turnovers, but with the offensive line struggling Wentz made so many incredible plays with his feet. 307 yards passing and two touchdowns to start his second season.
