Eagles, Steelers Fans Converging At Queen Village Bar

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - They're calling it a house divided.

One bar in Queen Village will host Philadelphia fans and Pittsburgh fans under one roof for the Eagles/Steelers game Sunday afternoon.

O'Neal's Irish Pub & Restaurant on 3rd Near South Street has been hosting Pittsburgh fans for years. In fact, the second floor is decorated with rally towels (aka the 'Terrible Towel', Steeler Super Bowl banners and other gold and black signage throughout the bar.

O'Neal's owner Greg "Spoonie" Rand says Pittsburgh fans have been gathering at the pub for about eight years and its growing in popularity:

"A group called the 'Steelers Alley' done by a friend of ours, Pete Dash, rest in peace Pete, came to us and wanted to bring his group to somewhere else that would allow them to express themselves, decorate the bar known as 'Steelrs Alley.'

Rand says the group has been gathering at the pub since the 2008/2009 season, the same season Pittsburgh won Super Bowl XLIII.

"The fact that they came here that year and won that year its been kind of really great for us because it has set the tone and its grown ever since we seen a lot of people move back to Pittsburgh or move away or have families but we always see new Steelers fans show up here wich is always great."

Eagles fans will be watching the game on the first floor. Steelers fans on the second.
