Eagles Return to Practice With Vick
By Tom Maloney
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles (4-8) got back on the practice field today, preparing for Sunday's game in Miami against the Dolphins (also 4-8).
Michael Vick was among the full cast of Eagles practicing today, and head coach Andy Reid says his number-one quarterback is looking good.
"Felt good," Reid told reporters. "He actually threw the ball around pretty good on Monday. Felt good Tuesday, feels good today."
Reid said that barring a setback, Vick will start at quarterback this Sunday against the Dolphins.
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hamstring, shoulder), cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle), and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (concussion, knee) all practiced today as well.
Coaching a 4-8 Eagles team is uncommon ground for Reid, but he says you just have to keep playing hard.
"Practice hard, get better at what we do, right? So we've identified where the issues are as players and coaches, and let's get better at those things."
As for the Dolphins, they started out 0-7, but since then they have won four of their last five.
