Eagles Playoff Tickets Go On Sale -- Whoops, Never Mind
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tickets went on sale Tuesday morning for the Eagles' Wild Card playoff game this Sunday against Green Bay at Lincoln Financial Field. And they didn't last long.
If you blinked, chances are you missed Eagles-Packers tickets on sale at the Eagles' web site or Ticketmaster.
Most tickets had already been sold to season ticket holders; the remaining few were made available to the public, says Eagles ticket manager Leo Carlin.
"They went on sale at ten o'clock. By 15 minutes later, we were on the very verge of a sellout," he told KYW Newsradio on Tuesday. "So I'm going to say that -- I didn't time it to the end, but it certainly was within half an hour. The excitement around here is just unmeasurable."
That leaves only the secondary market for fans who want to see Sunday's Wild Card matchup in person. On StubHub, upper-level tickets were selling for around $200. In the lower bowl, fans were paying around $350.
