Eagles Land DLs Hargrove And Landri
BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) -- The Eagles have agreed to one-year contracts with defensive tackles Anthony Hargrove and Derek Landri.
Earlier Wednesday, the Eagles lost two defensive tackles for an indeterminate amount of time. Trevor Laws injured his hip and was carted off the field, and Mike Patterson had a seizure and was hospitalized.
Hargrove, a third-round pick of the Rams in 2004, has played in 87 regular-season games, starting 25. He was suspended twice while with the Buffalo Bills for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, for four games in 2007 and then for the entire 2008 season. He played for New Orleans last season.
Landri spent his first three seasons with the Jaguars, who drafted him out of Notre Dame in 2007.
