Eagles Hoping For Drastic Improvement On 'D' This Season
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Philadelphia Eagles will resume practice this Tuesday.
While most fans have a lot of interest in Chip Kelly's offense, like who will be the quarterback and his unique practice theories, people should be concerned about the defense as well.
The Eagle's defense was the second worst in the NFL in take aways last season. They had just one interception in their last 10 game.
Eagles Safety Kurt Coleman was part of that team and says this is a new year:
"It doesn't matter what he sees on film, it's what can you do for me now? Everyone has to go out there and perform. You got to make plays. I think everybody from the new people to the old people that been here, we all got to perform and play our best."
The defense also allowed a league high 33 touchdown passes.
