Eagles Hire Ryan Day As Quarterbacks Coach
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles announced on Thursday afternoon that their new quarterbacks coach will be Ryan Day.
Day will replace Bill Musgraves who left to take the offensive coordinator job for the Raiders. Day will be Chip Kelly's third quarterbacks coach in as many seasons in the NFL following Musgraves and Bill Lazor.
Day joins the Eagles after spending two years as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Boston College.
In 2012, Day was the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Temple University. He also served as the Owls wide receivers coach in 2006.
Day is a 2002 graduate of New Hampshire and was a three-year starter at quarterback playing under Kelly while he served as New Hampshire's offensive coordinator.
