Eagles Fans Will Watch A Rare Tuesday Night Game. But Where?
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Eagles fans were angry when the game was cancelled Sunday but they will have a game to watch tonight -- a rare event for a Tuesday. The question local sports bars are asking is: Where will they watch it?
Sports bars such as the Field House in Center City were slower than usual Sunday, but bartender Laura thinks Tuesday night will be a lot busier than usual.
"Typically for Tuesdays, when sports are around, we get pretty packed -- especially the bar will be a few deep. But I feel like, with the game being down at the park, and it being so cold and snowy out, that people will probably want a more convenient location with still the same kind of atmosphere and fun as being down there would offer."
The bars may still be at the mercy of the weather, though, if Eagles fan Andrew Kane is typical.
"It really all depends. If the roads are clean, maybe we'll go down and tailgate for it and have a good time. If the snow continues, there might not be anything we can do for it but stay local."
One way or another, Wednesday morning may be a little tough.
