Eagles Fans Enjoy First Place
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Eagles lead the NFC East after rallying to beat the New York Giants Sunday night 27-17.
Eagles fans were thrilled about the win and some are pleasantly surprised with how well the season is going:
Man #1: "They have been doing outstanding as of late and that is not what we have been expecting. At least on my end, I didn't expect that at all."
Man #2: "I think they have been inconsistent at times but certainly they played well as of late. They have those games where it looks like they can beat anybody and they have those games where it looks like they can't beat the Cincinnati Bengals."
Man #3: "Everyone, of course, talks about Vick and the offense but the defense is definitely starting to step it up."
The victory gives the Eagles a 7-3 record and sole possession of first place in the NFC East. They are on the road next on Sunday afternoon as they meet the NFC North leading Chicago Bears.
