Eagles Express Confusion On Twitter After Seahawks Goal-Line Call
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- We all saw the Seahawks decision to pass the ball on the one-yard line with just seconds remaining in the Super Bowl. We also all know how it ended.
Be honest, did you take to Twitter following the play? Most people did and that includes members of your Eagles.
A lot of the players expressed their opinions on the call and from the samples we gathered, their opinions did not vary too much.
So Brandon Boykin sort of summed up what most people were thinking.
Trent Cole supported that notion. Being a long time defensive lineman turned linebacker, who better than Cole to know what would work in that position in such a big spot in a game?
Another player that might know would be another linebacker.
Luckily the examples above were pretty straight-forward, but some of the players decided to comment in a more open-ended way. We're going to assume they were talking about the play-call using context clues and the timing of the tweets.
There was also Connor Barwin. He didn't happen to comment on the decision to not use Marshawn Lynch on the goal-line, but it does look like he had a pretty good time at the game.
