Eagles Clinch NFC East
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The snow put a hold on the Eagles game with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night, but it didn't prevent Philadelphia from clinching the NFC East and a trip to the NFL playoffs.

The Giants, fresh off of their week 15 collapse to the Eagles, went into Green Bay with a chance to clinch a playoff birth of their own with a win over the Packers. To the delight of Eagles and Packers fans alike, that didn't happen.
Instead, it was Green Bay that came away with a 45-17 victory, securing the division title for the idle Eagles.
The Eagles, of course, still have a lot to play for over the final two weeks of the regular season, starting with Tuesday night's contest against the Vikings.
Philadelphia can still clinch a first-round bye and at least one home playoff game with wins over Minnesota and Dallas, and if the Chicago Bears lose to the Green Bay Packers in their final regular season game.
As it stands now, if the Eagles and Bears finish with identical records, Chicago would be awarded the bye because of their win over Philadelphia in week 12.
The New York Jets didn't give the Eagles any help on Sunday afternoon, losing 38-34 to the Bears in Chicago.
The division title is the sixth for the Eagles under head coach Andy Reid.
