Eagles' Bill Musgrave Accepts Raiders Offensive Coordinator Position
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Bill Musgrave has reportedly been up for consideration for the Oakland Raiders offensive coordinator job for the last few days since the team hired Jack Del Rio as their new head coach.
According to the Raiders, Musgrave has accepted the position.
Musgrave served as the Eagles quarterbacks coach this past season.
With this move, Musgrave becomes the second straight Eagles quarterback coach to leave to become an offensive coordinator. Following the 2013 season, Bill Lazor left the Eagles to take the offensive coordinator position in Miami.
Musgrave served as the quarterbacks coach for the Raiders in 1997 and served as Del Rio's offensive coordinator with the Jaguars from 2003-2004.
