Eagles Add New Defensive Backs Coach Cory Undlin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On Monday, the Eagles announced a number of changes to the coaching staff, including the addition of new defensive backs coach, Cory Undlin. Undlin comes to Philadelphia after serving as the defensive backs coach for the Broncos.
Undlin worked for Denver as their defensive backs coach from 2013-2014 under John Fox. He was the team's defensive quality control coach in 2012.
The Broncos secondary featured three pro bowl players in 2014 under Undlin's direction. Those players were cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Chris Harris as well as safety T.J. Ward.
The Eagles secondary was certainly not a strength for the team in 2014 and many fans were displeased with the play of the unit as a whole.
Undlin will have the task of restoring the faith in the Eagles secondary as the franchise will look to bring its play up to the level of the defense's front seven.
The Eagles also announced that the team's previous defensive backs coach, John Lovett, would remain with the organization working in the pro scouting department.
The team also announced that their tight ends coach, Ted Williams would also be transitioning to the pro scouting department while Justin Peelle will take over as the tight ends coach.
Peelle has served as the Eagles assistant tight ends coach for the last two seasons. Peelle is a veteran of 10 NFL seasons as a tight end for San Diego (2002-05), Miami (2006-07), Atlanta (2008-10), and San Francisco (2011).
