Eagles Add 13 Free Agent Rookies To Roster
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – After selecting nine players in the this year's NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles announced on Sunday that the team has agreed to terms with 13 undrafted rookie free agents.
Wide Receiver Elvis Akpla (ACK-pluh ) from Montana State posted a school record with 2,270 career receiving yards on 126 receptions, including 18 touchdowns.
Safety Matt Camilli earned first-team, All-Conference USA honors in 2011 at UTEP.
Tight End Chase Ford from Miami University caught 16 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns in two-year career for the Hurricanes.
Cornerback Cliff Harris was a consensus All-America selection in 2010 for Oregon with six interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, and an 18.8-yard average on 29 punt returns, including four for touchdowns.
Fullback Emil Igwenagu (eh-MEAL ig-wen-AH-goo) from Massachusetts had 38 receptions for 375 yards and three TDs for the Minutemen last year.
Wide Receiver McKay Jacobson caught 113 career passes for 1,836 yards and nine TDs at BYU.
