Driver Shot, Car Runs Into House Causing Fire In Lansdowne

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Firefighters battled a fire early Sunday along North Maple Avenue in Lansdowne, Delaware County.
The blaze was reported by police after a driver lost control and crashed into the building.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Just prior to the crash, witnesses reported hearing numerous gunshots.
Reports from the scene indicate one person in the car, believed to be driver, was pronounced dead at the scene.
