Driver Arrested In South Philly Hit-and-Run

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The driver of a car that struck and critically injured a woman late Saturday night in South Philadelphia has been arrested, according to police.

The incident happened just before midnight at 9^th Street and Oregon Avenue.

The 52-year-old victim was struck while crossing 9^th Street. The driver fled the scene, but was arrested Sunday by Aston Police.

The victim remains in Jefferson Hospital.

An investigation is ongoing.
