Drexel University Students Host Free Computer Repair Program
By Mike Dougherty
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A group of students at Drexel University are hosting a computer wellness and repair day tomorrow. It's free and open to everybody.
If your computer, smart phone or iPod is on the fritz, bring it to Drexel TechServ's "Community Genius Bar."
"We'll give you an unbiased opinion of what's wrong with it. If it's a problem we can fix right there on the spot, we'll give it a shot at fixing it."
Julian Kemmerer says they aren't trying to sell anything here.
"A good thing, because you know, you go to the Apple store and they might be trying to sell you something rather than a quick fix."
It's at the library learning terrace at 33rd and Race Streets from 1-3 p.m. Free of charge.
The students at TechServ refurbish old PCs and donate them to non-profit organizations.
