Drexel Ready To Welcome Rider To DAC
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Drexel will get back into game action for the first time since November 25th on Saturday, when they host Rider at the DAC.
The Dragons have struggled to a 2-4 record here in the early going, although they did pick up a win in that last game, 55-47, over Rice out in Anaheim, California.
Drexel head coach Bruiser Flint says right now, they are trying to find out what makes them good.
"Throughout the season you have to hang your hat on something," Flint tells KYW Newsradio. "Usually we're really good defensively and we rebound the ball. We haven't done any of that to start the season."

The numbers point that out. Opponents are shooting 45% from the field against Drexel this season, while last year the Dragons held opponents to 39% from the field.
The Dragons are also adjusting to life without leading scorer Chris Fouch. He suffered a broken ankle earlier this month and is out for the season.
"It's going to take a little bit with (replacing) Chris," Flint says. "Not necessarily his scoring, because I think (redshirt freshman forward) Tavon (Allen)'s a good scorer. But it's experience. He's an experienced player, he's been there, he's made big plays for us."
Allen has shown the ability to score the basketball thus far. He is averaging 12 points in just under 22 minutes a game.
Rider is 4-4 after losing at home to La Salle on Thursday, 63-52. Flint says the Broncs will bring a tough team to town.
"I think Kev (Rider head coach Kevin Baggett) has done a great job," Flint says. "We played together at St. Joe's and he's doing a good job of pressuring you and changing up defenses. I think he's got three really good guards in (junior) Nurideen Lindsey , (junior) Anthony Myles and (senior) Jonathon Thompson. (They) have really played well for him at the beginning of the season."
Lindsey leads the Broncs in scoring at 14.3 points per game.
Drexel and Rider will tip-off at noon on Saturday.
