Dom Giordano Talks With Former Shamong School Board President About Her Ethics Complaint Against Current Member
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Dom Giordano talked with Diane Tallaksen Wednesday on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.

Tallaksen is the former Shamong School Board President and has filed a complaint with New Jersey's School Ethics Commission against current member Greg Vitagliano, alleging he has posted abusive comments about teachers and endorsed violence against bullies on Facebook.
Responding to accusations that Vitagliano's son was bullied, Tallaksen stated he should have followed the procedures currently in place, rather than advocating for the initiation of an altercation.
"We have a regulation in our district, which is 5512, and if you go by the regulation, he should have taken this to the school principal, and if he wasn't satisfied it would go to the superintendent, and if he wasn't satisfied, it would go to the board, which he sits on", she said.
She insisted that Vitagliano's position requires that his actions meet a higher standard.
"He's sitting on the board. What about morals, what about ethics? He took an oath to do what was right for the school district. Is this right for the school district, to promote bullying? That's what he's doing," Tallaksen said.
Tallaksens defended her calls for Vitagliano's resignation and feels his actions reveal wider problems with the school board.
"I'm not bullying him. I went to the board meeting. I asked, because of what was written [on] Facebook, that there were violations. I had the numbers of the violations that I feel that he made, and I asked for him to step down. I think that what it's showing in Shamong Township is what's going on with our board. You have somebody that's making these statements about our teachers, about our district and about a child and parent in this district. And you just can sit there and say all that. I just don't think that's right," she said.
