Dom Brown: I'm 'Itching' For The Real Season
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Chris Stigall talked to Phillies Outfielder Dom Brown from Clearwater on the last day of Spring Training on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.

Brown said he's glad the Phillies are coming north and is anxious to begin playing games that count.
"Once that second or third week hits, I definitely start itching to get out of here and start preparing to get ready for the real season," he said.
He doesn't think fans should read too much into how the team's performance in February and March will carry over into the regular season.
"I'm having a terrible spring. That's why you get 400 or 500 at bats during the year. It's a six month grind. You're working on different things in spring training than you're going to work on in the season. When those lights come on, it's a little different ballgame," Brown stated.
Brown added he has a very good relationship with Manager Ryne Sandberg, who took over the job from Charlie Manuel last August.
"Ryno's definitely been very open. I had him as a Triple-A manager and we definitely had a great time. As long as you do your work on and off the field, everything is going to be fine. He's going to keep you lose and upbeat. I basically grew up under Ryno. He's similar my pops. He makes sure you going to be here on time and going to work," he said.
The Phillies' first game of the year is Monday against the Texas Rangers at 2:05 p.m.
