Dispute Between Neighbors Leads To Police Standoff In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A dispute between neighbors led to a police standoff in North Philadelphia Friday morning.
Police were called out to 9th Street and Susquehanna Avenue a little before 11 a.m. following reports of a heated argument. When officers arrived, the man barricaded himself inside a home, and reportedly threatened to kill the officers and his neighbor.
A SWAT team called to the scene was able to break through the door of the home and shot the suspect with bean bag pellets before arresting him.
One police officer suffered a minor injury during the arrest.
