Disney's 'Frozen' Is Coming To Broadway
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Disney can't hold it back anymore.
It was announced Tuesday that Frozen will be heading to Broadway in Spring of 2018, with a pre-Broadway trial run scheduled for the summer of 2017.
The show will reunite the creative team behind the massively successful film, including writer Jennifer Lee and composers Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. No cast has been announced as of yet.
The film Frozen made over a billion dollars worldwide at the box office and is the winner of multiple Academy Awards. It will join other Disney Broadway productions Aladdin which debuted in 2014, and the long-running production of The Lion King.
