Demolition Worried Salvation Army Store Employee Even Before Building Fell

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Salvation Army Thrift Store employee injured in Wednesday's collapse had concerns about the demolition going on next door, according to her husband.
Nadine White was an assistant manager at the store. She was trapped briefly and injured yesterday when when the store was crushed.
Her husband, Kenneth Bond, says she's home now but still in shock. He says she'd been worried about damage the demolition was doing to the store:
"When they started tearing the building down a couple weeks ago, inside the bathroom of the Salvation Army was a huge crack in the walls and she was, like, 'Oh my God, you can look out of the crack and see the outside.' "
Salvation Army officials declined to say whether White had shared her concerns with them or whether they are planning their own investigation. Maj. Robert Dixon says the organization is just trying to provide support right now.
"We are always there to help people, and this has touched us a little closer than usual because they were employees and patrons of our store, so it touches us a whole lot deeper," he told KYW Newsradio today.
