Flooding Concerns In Pennsylvania, New Jersey

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The rain is here and a flood watch is in effect for most of the region.

Some areas of the region will be socked with several inches of rain, pushing the limits of some local creeks, streams, and rivers. AccuWeather meteorologist Elliot Abrams says rain will be steady and heavy at times.

"The whole rain area is slowly shifting eastward, so we're all going to get under the umbrella of rain today -- and we'll need umbrellas. The very heaviest rain will be this afternoon into this evening and there could even be a thunderstorm. Late tonight the rain should taper off."
