Delaware Store Owner Arrested For Selling Bath Salts
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – A Newark store owner has been arrested for allegedly selling the substance bath salts.
Pervez Alikhan, 53, of Bear, was arrested on Thursday, May 17th after officers executed a search warrant at the Old Baltimore Pike Cigarettes on the 700 block of Old Baltimore Pike in Newark after a three-week investigation of the illegal sale of the banned substance.
Officers seized 52 grams of bath salts that were hidden in two different containers inside the store. They also found two more packets of the product in Alikhan's pockets during a pat down.
Alikhan was arrested and charged.
