Delaware State Police Searching For Bank Robbery Suspect
BEAR, Del. (CBS) – The Delaware State Police Department is investigating a robbery that happened at a Bear area bank on Thursday morning.
The robbery happened at the TD Bank on the 1000 block of Songsmith Drive in Bear at 9:53 a.m. The suspect approached the bank teller and presented her with a note that demanded cash and implied that the suspect had a gun, though a weapon wasn't displayed.
The teller complied with the robber's demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect then fled the bank. He was last seen running toward the Governor's Square Shopping Center.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years old and 5'10"-6'0" tall with a stocky build. He has red hair and was wearing a blue Phillies baseball cap, a gray sweater with a white shirt underneath and blue jeans.
