Delaware State Police Search For Suspect Connected To Christiana Mall Robbery
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Delaware State Police are seeking the public's help in searching for a suspect connected to a robbery that took place at Christiana Mall last month.
On March 22, a 22-year-old mall employee from Philadelphia left work and entered her vehicle which was located in the mall's parking lot. The victim was then approached by a male suspect who struck up a conversation with the victim through the partially opened car window.
Police say the suspect then displayed a handgun and demanded the victim's purse.
The victim complied. The suspect fled on foot through the parking lot towards the mall, according to police. The victim was not injured.
