Delaware Police: Suspects Force Male And 14-Year-Old Sister Into Basement During Home Invasion
DOVER, Del. (CBS)—Delaware State Police are on the hunt for four to five suspects responsible for a home invasion late Friday night.
The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. Monday night in Lakeshore Village. A 19-year-old male had just entered his garage and while the door was open four or five males entered the garage and began assaulting him, demanding drugs and money.
The suspects then forced the male and his 14-year-old sister, who was sleeping in her bed, into the basement of the house.
The suspects began confiscating their electronic devices such as computers, televisions and cell phones before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The male victim was slightly injured in the incident. His 14-year-old sister was unharmed.
Detectives believe this was not a random act and the male victim was targeted.
