Delaware Police Searching For Man Involved In Early Morning Armed Robbery
NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS) – Police have issued two warrants for the arrest of a man in connection with an armed robbery in Dunleith.
At around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, police responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred at a home in the 400 block of Bethune Drive. When the officers arrived, the 39-year-old victim told them that he was approached by a male acquaintance that brandished a gun and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and property. During the incident, the suspect also threatened a family member of the victim before fleeing the area.
During the investigation, officers were able to gather information that lead to Julius Lawrence, a 28-year-old male from the 100 block of Oakwood Court in New Castle, being identified as the suspect involved.
