Delaware Police Searching For 3 Suspects Involved In TJ Maxx Robbery
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Delaware State Police are reaching out to the public for help finding three suspects involved in a shoplifting incident at a Wilmington TJ Maxx earlier this week.
On May 7th around 1:20 p.m., three suspects entered the TJ Maxx on Concord Pike in Wilmington. They put clothing into backpacks and handbags then attempted to exit the store. As they did so, they were confronted by a 39-year-old security guard. One male suspect, who was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants, fled on foot with the officer pursuing him on foot. As he was fleeing, the suspect then turned to the officer and sprayed him in the face with some sort of chemical. The second male and the female suspect both fled the scene.
The security guard refused treatment for the chemical spray. Delaware police are asking that anyone who has information on this incident call 800-TIP-3333.
