Delaware Police Probe Restaurant Parking Lot Shooting
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police say a 25-year-old Wilmington woman was shot when a fight broke out in the parking lot of a restaurant.
Police say the woman sitting in the back seat of a car near Caribbean Delight south of Wilmington on Saturday night when two patrons began to fight in the parking lot. Police say a man pulled out a gun and fired one shot, which hit the woman in her arm.
Friends took the woman to an area hospital and she was transferred to Christiana Hospital's trauma center in stable condition.
Police say the shooter remained at large Sunday.
