Delaware Police Arrest Motorcyclist In Fatal Crash
LAUREL, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police have arrested a Laurel man who they say fatally hit a 78-year-old woman with his motorcycle.
Police arrested 28-year-old Matthew Kondash on Saturday in while he was kayaking in Cape Charles, Va.
Police say Kondash was riding on a motorcycle Friday morning, when he hit Eleanor Pusey of Laurel as she crossed Sycamore Road. Pusey was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kondash was flown to Christiana Hospital, but his injuries weren't as serious as originally believed and he was released before investigators arrived.
He is charged with manslaughter, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and other offenses.
