Delaware Music Teacher Accused Of Sending Sexually Explicit Images To Student
MIDDLETOWN, Del, (CBS) -- Delaware State Police announced the arrest of 32-year-old music teacher Nicole D. Veneroso of Newark.
Veneroso was arrested after officials say she allegedly sent sexually explicit images to a male student.
Authorities say the investigation began in January of 2016 after administrators at Everett Meredith Middle School in Middletown were contacted by the mother of a 13-year-old male student after she found sexually explicit video and images of a female teacher on his cell phone.
Officials say the investigation showed that Veneroso had begun a relationship with the male student in December of 2015.
Police say the relationship continued up until the images were found.
According to authorities, Veneroso sent the student numerous photographs, videos and text messages.
Veneroso was charged with Dealing in Child Porn, Sexual Solicitation of a Child Under 18, Criminal Solicitation, Providing Obscenity to a Child under 18, Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Person of Trust and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
