Delaware Man Charged In Roommate's Stabbing Death
NEWARK, Del. (AP) -- New Castle County police have charged a man with stabbing his roommate to death during a fight outside their apartment.
Officers were called to the Abbey Walk Apartment complex early Saturday where they found a 32-year-old man unconscious in the hallway. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he died. The man's roommate, 29-year-old Jorge Ramirez-Arce, was nearby and was arrested.
Police say the man was stabbed multiple times in the torso during a fight and after an extensive interview with Ramirez-Arce, investigators confirmed he was involved. Ramirez-Arce is charged with first-degree murder and a weapons offense and is being held without bail.
Police have not released the victim's name, pending notification of his family.
