Delaware Man Charged In 3 Burglaries
NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) -- New Castle County Police have charged a man with three daytime burglaries.
Twenty-six-year-old Joseph Iacono was arrested Thursday and charged with burglary, theft and other offenses. He is being held on $15,800 cash bail.
Officers say in the burglaries, the thief took silverware, jewelry, a laptop and other items from the homes.
Police say after Iacono was arrested at a traffic stop, a search warrant was executed on his hotel room. Officers say a large quantity of jewelry, along with cash and other items, were found.
