Delaware Duo Arrested For Selling Pot Out Of Their Home

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – Two people from Delaware have been arrested for selling drugs out of their Newark home.
Allyson Wildrick and Joseph Downs were stopped by police on Friday in the parking lot of a Delaware Royal Farms for a registration violation on the car that Wildrick was driving. When the officers approached the car, they smelled marijuana and conducted a search that led them to 30 grams of marijuana hidden inside the vehicle.
Police also received information that Downs might be selling drugs from his home in the unit block of Cobble Creek Curve in the Stones Throw Townhouses located in Newark, Delaware.
Later that day, police executed a search warrant at the residence, where they found 228 more grams of marijuana packaged for sale, as well as a glass pipe, glassine baggies, a digital scale and brass knuckles. Police also seized about $900 in suspected drug money.
Joseph Downs and Allyson Wildrick were arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.
