Delaware Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested In Ruby Tuesday Restaurant

BEAR, Del. (CBS) – Delaware State Police arrested a suspect in connection with a bank robbery Monday afternoon.
Joseph P. Thomas, 33, is facing several charges for his alleged role in the robbery of the PNC Bank in the Eden Square Shopping in Bear, Delaware.
According to investigators, Thomas entered the bank at about 3:12 p.m. and presented a teller with a note demanding money.
The teller complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to Thomas who then ran out of the bank.
While checking the area of Pulaski Highway (US 40) and Bear Corbitt Road (SR 7), Troopers found Thomas in a Ruby Tuesday restaurant and took him into custody.
Thomas has been charged with Robbery in the 2nd Degree and Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony. He was arraigned and is being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $30,000 cash bail.
