Del. Woman Arrested For Stabbing Own Brother Twice
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) - Police in Delaware arrested a female suspect after she allegedly stabbed her own brother two times during an argument.
The incident happened Sunday night inside a home in the 700 block of E. 11th Street in Wilmington.
According to investigators, the brother and sister apparently became engaged in an argument during which the male allegedly punched his sister. The sister then armed herself with two kitchen knives and stabbed her brother through the left shoulder and into the left chest.
The male was transported to the Christiana Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
The female suspect was taken into custody without incident. She is currently at police headquarters awaiting charges for the assault.
The incident remains under police investigation.
