Del. Man Arrested On Weapons Charges
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – One person was arrested on weapons charges after police were called to the scene of a fight in Delaware.
On Tuesday, Wilmington police were called to the scene of a fight during which a person was said to have been struck by a fleeing vehicle. While canvassing the area, officers found the vehicle at 23rd St at Thatcher.
Police stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, Howard Womack, 28. He was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and related charges.
An investigation is underway, but police did not find anyone who appeared to have been struck by the vehicle.
