Del. Man Arrested In Home Invasion, Robbery

DOVER, Del. (AP) -- Delaware State Police have arrested a 19-year-old man accused of forcing his way into a Dover mobile home and robbing a wheelchair-bound man at gunpoint.

Authorities say Tevin Perry of Dover has been charged with first-degree robbery and five other offenses in the Jan. 4 incident in the Pinewood Acres Mobile Home Park.

Police and court records say Perry forced his way into the home and confronted a 52-year-old wheelchair-bound man. Police say Perry brandished a handgun and demanded money and prescription medication from the victim.

Police say that through the help of a concerned citizen, troopers were able to link Perry to the home invasion.

Perry was arrested Monday and was being held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on an $80,000 secured bond.
