Customs Agents At Philadelphia International Arrest Man In Possession Of Magic Mushrooms
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia area man was arrested after trying to bring more than 73 grams of mushrooms – of the magic variety -- into the United States.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) arrested Gregory Corbin, Jr., 34, at Philadelphia International Airport on Sunday in possession of almost 73 grams of psilocin mushrooms and a little over half a gram of marijuana.
A container of the psychedelic drugs was discovered during a routine agriculture examination, and Corbin also admitted to possessing an additional container of "Mush Rocks" in his baggage, which was later found along with a marijuana cigarette.
Agents say Corbin was attempting to bring the 'shrooms back to America with him following a trip to Amsterdam.
He was arrested and turned over to the Tinicum Township Police Department for prosecution.
