Customers Stranded At Delaware County Shopping Center Due To Flooding
SPRINGFIELD, Pa. (CBS) – Police and fire crews were on the scene at a Delaware County shopping center, where multiple people were reportedly trapped due to flooding.
Officials in Delaware County say several people were removed after becoming trapped inside the BJ's Wholesale store on East Woodland Avenue in Springfield, Delaware County due to heavy flooding.
Two rescue boats were en route to the scene around 1 p.m. to help remove others who were stranded in their vehicles in the parking lot.
The store was closed during the afternoon but reopened around 4 p.m.
